Textured Carpets

Modern carpet comes in a variety of colors, textures, lengths, designs, and more endless options! This blog post details the different type of textures, though each style will also have different yarn styles that will contribute to the texture! Here are the basic structures:
- Level Loop Pile: This is one of the most common loop styles, and for good reason. It wears well and can endure lots of traffic and activity because it is a continuous uncut surface that resists crushing. This style wears well and is suited for casual rooms with lots of traffic and activity.
- Cut Pile: This is another very common design and also very durable. The high twist yarn holds its shape longer, so it is a great option for frequently used areas.
- Saxony: Though it shows foot prints and vacuum marks, saxony is very soft and can add a more formal touch to your space.
- Shag: Thankfully the shag carpet of the past has been replaced with stylish, plush carpet with a wide variety of yarn thickness and texture. The options are truly endless with this oldie but goodie.
